Scary creature of the day

Its El Chupacabra!
No, its a hairless bear, but scary as heck. Look at the claws on that thing!
Its sort of like a hairless cat. Cats are furry and cute normally, but the Siamese variety are just plain ugly and scary.

My esteemed Senator, Roland Burris, Has a Lot of Questions About How the Federal Government Works.

Take away quote:
Thank you, Mr. Chairman, this is ā this is ā I mean this is. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Iām done.
Sen. Roland Burris (D-IL)
Read his entire incoherent, rambling, statement at the link above.
Reminds one of a Billy Madison quote:
Mr. Madison Burris, what you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Obama and all liberals take note please.
[UPDATE]
Interesting WSJ article on the status of Germany 20 years after reunification.
Apparently a lot for this Nordic dude.
…bus driver Andreas Jankov has formally changed his name to Julius Andreas Gimli Arn MacGyver Chewbacka Highlander Elessar-Jankov. “I wanted to show that it is possible to be serious and at the same time take the name you like,” said the film enthusiast.
He kind of looks like a cross between Gimli and Chewbacka.
OK that was mean of me. Sorry JAGAMCHE.

A rare parasite which burrows into host fish before eating and replacing their tongues with itself has been found off the Jersey coast.

Is it just a coincidence that these creatures look just like the invaders from the Star Trek TNG episode Conspiracy?

[UPDATE]
