Atheists examine Christmas from angel-free angle

Can they really call it a Christmas book?

She denies the book is anti-Christmas: “I wanted to make it clear that it’s a friendly, quite a happy book. I’ve sent it to some of my religious friends. The book is not just about being atheist – there’s a chapter on how to get on with relatives and ideas for party games.”

She denies the book is anti-Christmas, yet look at the title, “There Probably Is No God: The Atheist’s Guide To Christmas”. Nope, no agenda there. You can all celebrate Festivus, and I’ll remember how the Lord was born of a virgin, in a manger, and how the angels rejoiced at the work of God.

If they think that there is no God then they shouldn’t celebrate Christmas at all.
